Obstetric and Gynaecological Surgeries: Conducted close to 16,000 surgeries, including gynaecological procedures.
Diabetic Limb Salvage: Saved around 2,500 limbs from necrosis or amputation due to diabetes.
Haemorrhoidectomy: Performed 8,300 haemorrhoidectomy procedures as of April 2020. Holds a record for completing a haemorrhoidectomy in 6 minutes and 30 seconds, which he plans to document in a surgical forum soon.
Training: Trained 30 doctors in general, gynaecological, and laparoscopic surgeries.
Bomb Blast Treatment: Treated 74 patients injured in the Coimbatore bomb blast in 1998.

Initiative: Launched the first 24-hour fever tele clinic for COVID-affected patients in India.
Coverage: Provided consultation, COVID medicine, and precautionary measures delivered to patients’ doorsteps across all states in India.
Telemedicine Village - Bridging Urban and Rural Health Care
Innovation: Established the first telemedicine village in South India.
Purpose: Aimed to bring urban healthcare facilities to villages across India. The first setup was initiated at Dr. Bhat’s Nursing Home, Peralam, a remote village in Thiruvarur District.
CSR COVID Care Centre (CSR CCC)
Success: Operated the most successful COVID Care Centre in Coimbatore at Subhashree Hotels, Ram Nagar, benefiting over a thousand COVID-positive patients.
Recovery Rate: Achieved a recovery rate of nearly 98%, above the average recovery rate of Coimbatore District.
Team: Led by Dr. K. Sooraj Kumar, the exclusive COVID care team comprised doctors, staff, respiratory therapists, dieticians, catering units, administration team, security forces, pharmacy, laboratory, and housekeeping services.
Objective: Provided quality care at an affordable cost to the public.
