Dr. C. S. Ragoothaman, fondly known as CSR, is a highly intelligent, compassionate, and caring doctor with over six decades of practice. He began his career as a Government Medical Officer in Anthiyur before starting his own private practice. A pioneer in leprosy and tuberculosis treatment, he has treated over 2,500 leprosy cases and 10,000 tuberculosis cases. Dr. CSR has conducted more than 50,000 deliveries in rural areas, saving thousands of lives. His legacy of dedication inspired his children and grandchildren to continue this noble profession.

In 1999, he founded the CSR Charitable Trust to expand his charity work. The trust has made significant contributions to society through various philanthropic activities.
